Jessica is a second-year graduate student at LSU. She works as a marketing and promotions graduate assistant for the LSU athletic department. Jessica received her bachelor’s degree from LSU in sports administration. Following graduate school, Jessica hopes to pursue a career in sport marketing and personal branding of athletes at the professional or collegiate level.
WARD “CHUCKY” COLIN
Chucky received a bachelor’s degree from Dillard University, where he majored in Mass Communication. At Dillard, Colin served as a reporter, radio personality, journalist, and P.A. announcer for WDUT. He currently is pursuing a master’s degree in Mass Communication at LSU. Upon graduating, Colin hopes to serve as a sports broadcaster for a NFL or NBA team.
Serena currently attends LSU and is working to earn her master’s in Public Relations. She recently graduated from the University of New Orleans, receiving a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Journalism. As a student she interned at Fox 8 WVUE, Cox Sports TV, and Fox 6 WBRC as a sports journalist.
As the daughter of a coach, Lauren has always been interested in sports, and is now focusing her journalism interests in covering them at both the collegiate and professional levels. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, she currently resides in New Orleans, while working on her master’s at LSU. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University.
Kyle is a New Orleans native and a graduate of Jesuit High School. He is a second year Master’s of Kinesiology student at LSU, where he received his bachelors in Sports Administration in 2013. Kyle works in the LSU athletic department’s Marketing and Promotions Office. He hopes to continue working in sports marketing and entertainment within professional or collegiate athletics.
Jae attended Prairie View A&M University where she received her bachelors in Mass Communication with a focus in media. She is an active blogger, and a social media guru. Jasmin has directed numerous documentaries and is currently working on an autobiography. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Mass Communication at LSU.
Lauren received a bachelor’s degree from LSU in Sports Administration with minors in Leadership Development and Business Administration. Lauren is currently a graduate student at LSU and holds a graduate assistantship in marketing and promotions with the LSU athletic department. She plans to pursue a career in marketing in collegiate athletics after she graduates.
Annie attends LSU as a master’s student in Mass Communication and hopes to pursue a career in journalism after graduation. Annie received her undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she worked as a writer/copy editor for The Vermilion student newspaper and interned at The Acadiana Advocate.
A native of Lafayette, Lindsay is a second-year master’s student at LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication. Lindsay graduated from the LSU Law Center in May 2014, where she was editor in chief of the student newspaper, The Civilian. She also graduated from LSU in 2011 with a bachelors degree in Mass Communication: Public Relations.
Joe is a native of Philadelphia and a professional cheesesteak connoisseur. He received his bachelor’s degree in communication from La Salle University, covered sports at the student newspaper, and also worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer. He currently lives in Baton Rouge and is pursuing a master’s degree in mass communication from LSU.
A native of Vacherie, Louisiana, Corey played cornerback for LSU and was part of the Tigers’ 2003 BCS national championship team. A 2004 LSU graduate, he was drafted by the New York Giants in 2005 and played on two Super Bowl champions. Corey is married to Tekleanna N. Webster and they have two sons, Corey II and Coren.
